Milton Real Estate Market Statistics Report Market Activity in Milton Ontario Continues Upward Trend
Home sales in the Milton area were brisk for the month of Feruary according to a report released by the Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) today. According to the report, sales of homes in the area were up by almost 20% for the second month in a row and showed an increase of 25.4% in year to date figures (see below for details. In conjunction, the number of homes coming on the market increased by 15.6% in a monthly comparison and 18.9% in a yearly one.
"The Milton Market is defying all predictions" said Marlene Atcheson, OMDREB Prsident, "and we are optimistic that this trend will continue through the spring market." The reports also showed that the prices had eased somewhat and had risen by 12.3% .
The inventory of available homes remained strong despite the increase in sales activity and grew by 17% when compared to a year ago. "As we have reported consistently over the past year,"
